I don’t know how much more I can take emotionally watching ArmyWives…. I decided that as I missed the 4th season I would watch it again on Netflix from the beginning.  Being the daughter of ex-military as well as having brothers and brother’s in law who were military this series is so real!  Off to watch Season 2 episode 6 after one of the main character’s children has died!!!  Wish me luck!

Ah the love life and love in general….. When Venus goes Rx love “problems” come to the surface.  Expect lots of discussions or arguments, depending upon where you are at in your relationships.  Its time to ask yourself “is this relationship worth all the time and energy I spend on it.?  Be honest with yourself.

When the New Moon is in Taurus there is a need to “feel” secure in all of your important relationships. It’s a great time to bring up money directions for your relationships. That may involved planning to buy a home, taking a dream trip around the world in a yacht, adding some paintings to your collection. You will also talk about where else you would like money spent. You can find yourself becoming more connected with your beliefs and sharing them with your partner.

Your New Moon Wishes this time revolve around pleasure, self-worth, and patience. In terms of your relationships if they are not moving fast enough for you simply wishing “I want to easily find myself more patience, loving and kind from this day forward.” When wishing to attract money to take someone on a great date ask the Universe “I easily attract the correct finances needed in order to date ____ and take her/him to _________.” Remember be specific and write it down.

Of course taking action is going to be important and this is where Dream Boards come in. Each month change your Relationship Dream Board to add actions that will take you closer to having the date of your dreams. It’s important that you announce to everyone that you are looking to make extra income in order to fulfill your financial dream in your relationship.

Soul Purpose Vocation

When the New Moon is in Taurus we can spend time writing our wishes that will not only help solidify our business for years to come in our community or society, we can also look at wishing for Angel Investors and Venture Capitalists to take your business to the next level. If you are not there yet with your Soul Purpose Vocation, then it’s a good time to take a look at exactly what you would need to make per month in order to move from a “job”, which entails, boredom, exhaustion, long traffic journeys, costing a fortune, carrying out someone else’s ideas and making someone else look good TO your Soul Purpose Vocation which includes, passion, excitement, inquisitiveness, freedom, joy and a sprinkling of healthy concern for the future.

Your New Moon Wish focus when the Moon is in Taurus for your “work” area is about setting a solid foundation for yourself. If you are at the beginning and looking for your passions still, or if you are moving from one level of working with your passions to the next you still want to have a solid foundation. Your solid foundation will include your Soul Purpose Mission and Vision together with a Financial Statement of what you plan to create. Take the actions needed to create these documents in writing and couple them with wishes such as “I am easily connected with my Soul Purpose Passions and and they show up in my life everyday very clearly.” or “I find myself creating the business plans I need in order to move forward and grow my business.” or “I am in the greatest of shape and health and have stamina to keep going creating my Soul Purpose Vocation.

For those of you with a “job” the wishes can come in the form of you understanding more about the pieces you do love about the current work you do. “I am can easily identify those working conditions in which I work best.” Again there is action needed. Take 15 minutes a night for the next 7 nights to get clear about how you would spend your time and your energy giving back to others if money were no problem. Don’t edit, just write. All the writing you do brings you closer to your authentic self and closer to the day you will be using that authentic self to create a living.

With anything Taurus we need to practice patience. As far as I know Rome wasn’t built in a day and the life you live now wasn’t created in a day either. If you want to make changes in your relationships or your career then having resolve to keep moving forward slowly, diligently and patiently is the best you can do for yourself.

What are your passionate connections?

This month is all about what you love, who you love, how you love, how you love to be loved and that to which you are drawn and feel a strong, passionate connection. Of course this can show up in both your work and personal lives.

In Astrology all types of love is represented by the Planet Venus. Venus has two rulers, Taurus and Libra. Taurus is all about the sensuality of how something feels and Libra is about harmony. Venus is looking for that glow we feel inside when something feels “right” for us and having that in balance.

As you know, I’m big on “lists”, it’s a great way to get your thoughts out of your head so that you can connect intuitively with what you have written and KNOW for yourself the “correct” direction for you as an individual.

In terms of spending time IN your Soul Purpose Career, it can be a challenge to find your SPC if you are not sure of the ingredients. Imagine that you are making a 5-course meal for 8 of the most influential people who have been or are now in your life. You are creating dishes from scratch that you have never made before. The recipes for each dish have at least 8-10 ingredients in them, and ingredients that you don’t readily have in your kitchen. You are then told (by the powers that be, whoever they are!!) that not only do you have to make this 5-course meal, you have to do it without the actual recipe to cook the dishes! On top of that you are not allowed to make a shopping list when you go to the store to get over 50 items, you have to remember. How well do you think you would make the dishes? How overwhelmed and nervous would you feel about the cooking? How stressed would you feel not to know what you were doing and how you were supposed to be doing it? Picture yourself racing around the grocery store using your imagination to “guess” what’s in the recipes that you don’t know how to cook!!! Ahhhh stress upon stress…. So you say “NO” to the party and tell yourself “tomorrow is another day”. “Maybe next week I’ll invite them all over.” Then you go back to recipes that are bland and uninteresting, AND you know how to make. You don’t really like them that much, but it’s what you are used too and it works without too much hassle and no enjoyment or passion.

The solution is obvious…. You would decide on your recipes that you would get from your cookbook. You would write out a shopping list that would also include a list of everything else you might need for your 5 course meal and dinner party. You would plan the date, confirm that all 8 are coming and then get going on creating a delightful experience for yourself and others.

Now think about how you are spending your time and energy with regards your working environment. Are you doing work about which you are passionate? Do you love certain aspects of your work and others you could do without? What about the actual environment; do you prefer to be indoors or out? What about the use of electronics, how much time do you want to spend on these?

Looking at creating your Soul Purpose Career starts with you looking at what you love. Just like the Planet Venus, that which you love, you will be drawn towards. What does that look like for you?

Take 22 minutes of your time, and start to write about what you do love about the work you are currently engaged in. Over the next month, make sure to review and add to that; at least 10 times. If it’s only the people you work with, then write that down. Keep fleshing this list out until you are done with all the activities in which you are involved in your career. Don’t forget things that happen on the outside such as Networking, Speaking, and meeting with clients, customers or patients.

As you are getting clear about what you love in your current work start to add other items that you know you would enjoy engaging it. It does not have to have anything to do with your current job. If you spend all day in a kitchen as a Chef and would love to write and have none of that in your life, then make sure you add writing to an ingredient that you would love to have in your Soul Purpose Career.

Remember the baby steps it takes to get you from where you are now to where you want to be.

I’ve been watching what has been going on in England with the financial institutions and the people to see if they are having the same reaction to bonuses in financial institutions as is happening in most parts of America.  Yes they are…. In the process of watching a documentary they interviewed Dave Forsey who is the CEO of Sports Direct in England.  He only pays himself 150,000 pounds per year and all the employees get a share in the profits.  Dave believes that the people who work in the stores build the business and therefore ought to get a piece of the profits.  When interviewed one of the employees said his bonus would pay off the mortgage on his house.  Another said she is going to be able to build an addition to her house and take the family on an extended vacation!  So what do you think?  Do you think you would work harder, longer and be more engaged in your company if you and all employees received a percentage of the profits?

Let’s get organized!

Mars is the planet of energy.  It rules our work and career area of our life as where as other areas to which we are drawn.  Right now Mars is in the sign of Virgo so there is a tendency for all of us to be looking at getting organized.  Virgo wants perfection and everything to run smoothly.  Because Mars is Retrograde we can find ourselves being overwhelmed with the amount of tolerations you need to deal with.  I call them Tolerations because that’s what they are.  They are a very long list of things that need changing, fixing, getting rid of etc etc.  Whilst Mars is Rx it’s time to make the list of what needs to be done.  You don’t have to rush out and do any of it now.  It’s only important that you put down on paper those thoughts going through your mind.  It’s much harder to keep thinking about the same thing over and over again when you have written it down!  So what needs organizing?  Your house, your work , your relationships, your health, your finances or all of them?

Neptune the planet of our hopes, wishes and dreams as well as our illusions and delusions is in its ruling sign of Pisces, which has a powerful effect on all of us.  Neptune is a generational planet which means that an entire group of people born at a particular time will all have Neptune in the same sign.  Neptune will be in Pisces until 2025.  You will either be drawn towards spiritual transformation or a life that involves substances and behaviors to handle your emotions.  There can be a lot more negative energy around when Neptune is in Pisces.  You get to choose your direction.  So do you want to cover up and deny what’s going on in your life or do you want to transform.  The choice is yours.

So we have our energy down because of the Mars being Retrograde and Neptune at full power being in Pisces.  Our defenses are down for the next few months.  It’s time to either start writing about what the transformation needs to be or to go off into la-la land and pretend everything is ok in your life.  For the next couple of months you have the opportunity to move towards your hopes, wishes and dreams or you can flounder and wait until June when some of your world will come crashing down and I’ll be talking about that at the end of May.

In terms of your relationships does it need an overhaul?  Are you happy with the way it’s going?  What about friendships are they equal or do you find yourself being the counselor to everyone and then no-one is there for you?  What about your work area are you happy with how you are spending your time and energy to make an income?  If not what are your hopes, wishes and dreams for yourself and are you ever going to go after them or just wish for them?

Action taking comes in a few months and really can you take action on anything when you don’t know what you want.  One of the things I always loved about working for criminal defense attorneys was that they NEVER asked a question to which they didn’t know the answer.  So what are your answers?
